I'd rather keep Sao in the middle tbh. Might depend on what Wigan want too? Do they see Chan as a middle or edge

I'm still a bit sensitive around seeing 50 against our name so I hope they don't.

| Quote: TnT "What do people feel regarding the principle of these loan signings? I get Chamberlain to shore up our defence. Maybe having better performances builds confidence in turn improving outcomes. However how important are results versus using our own club resources to develop players (and injured players returning) given we don’t get relegated this season? Is it to limit the disillusionment of the fans, to change the spirit in the dressing room, something else?'"
I'd always rather use our home grown players. We're in a real hole at the moment and just need bodies who can come in and help stem the tide. If we were a winning team then that wouldn't be the case and we would be more comfortable adding the odd youngster as and when required. Once we get more competitive in matches again, and that doesn't necessarily mean winning them but just stopping the regular 50 point losses and actually taking games into the final 10 minutes we can start giving out more debuts again.

Agree, think it would be a massive mistake to go with Grix, but yes if we go we need an attack minded assistant.

| I do worry if its Grix. If he can't turn our form up and the club announce him as thew new coach he'll be under massive pressure from next year

| Grix would be a pretty underwhelming appointment and one that wouldn't really capture the imagination with those fans who we need to lure back to the MKM. We would need to see a strong remainder of the season and a significant change in playing style to instil any confidence/trust in the supporters.
What i will say about Grix is that is clear that in his 2/3 weeks in charge he has at least appeared to get some degree of improvement out of the squad, and appears to be well thought of/respected by the playing group. Having him appointed instantly means we can begin on recruiting for 2025 now rather than the mess around of a coach doing it whilst at their current club.

| Have we improved because of Grixs coaching or the fact the didn't like Smith?

| nothing against grix but we need a new voice in the camp, one who doesn't accept mediocrity and who will push the players to their limits mentally and physically and build a winning culture. Someone who wasn't around when it was acceptable not to put the required effort in

Harris is an agent (Think he is Rowleys) I think.
Cooke maybe, but has he ever been a success, York seem to have got worst since he got there.
If we want UK based I'd go for Mcguire or Horne.
