I can actually see the benefits of Rowley starting in 2025, working behind the scenes. Him not associated with this season.

So we've gone from signing Rowley, brierly and sneyd to briscoe, chamberlain, asiata and linked with lam? Do we just raid a club at a time now

In reply to Mrs B above (I can't get the quote to work on this ruddy site) Appleyard has gone Dan has been reprived and kept on based on hits on the HDM site apparently something I for one am pleased about because we get some good and breaking stuff on there and Dan is certainly a fan too.

Got to say credit to Myler for the signing of Asiata, not only is he a fantastic player but perhaps more importantly is a proven leader and what we have been crying out for since Ellis.

Also the more I see and hear from Grix the more he impresses, I’m not saying he should be given the role full time but he has certainly stood up to the plate.
Whilst attacking wise we are still pretty poor (not helped by poor recruitment & no quality/experience in the halves) the improvement in the discipline has been significant. We still aren’t going to win many but already we can see clear signs and evidence of improvement in how and the structure we are playing.

We still have a huge amount of work to do but the performances under Grix are night & day from the Smith tenure.

Although the score line is what it is we do look a much more organised outfit but just don’t have the quality in the right areas to worry any opposition. Had this game been a few weeks ago we’d have been down by 30 before halftime.
